Beginner Junior Men's Series Champion Jeff Meyer - First State Velo Sport took another first place. He shot out of the starting gate very fast and took the lead...... about mid-way through the race second place Dominic Nudy passed but couldn't hold the lead. Jeff re-took the lead and attacked hard ending up with a little more than a minute gap at the end finishing in 1:39:10. Mr. Nudy was second at 1:40:18, and Robby McElfresh - Yellow Breeches Racing was third at 1:45:28.

Beg racer blasting through creek towards the end of race!Beg Senior 1 racer Ryan Isbert - University of Delaware had a wonderful first mountain bike race. Ryan usually races on the road and was happy to experience the camaraderie of mtb racing. Not too comfortable yet with off road terrain, he took a tumble early on and bent his derailleur causing some shifting problems. Nonetheless he was able to hold off the ever consistent Beg Senior 1 Series Champion Eric Mushrush but just by 43 seconds. Ryan crossed the line in 1st place at 1:42:06 with Eric hot on his heels at 1:42:49. Third place was won by Ryan Gerlach in 1:50:10.

It was not the usual suspects who took top three in the Beg Senior 2 race. All top three Series leaders raced but weren't able to finish higher than 7th place. Brian Murphy took first place Beg Senior 2 in 1:37:29. Just 10 seconds separated 2nd and 3rd place with Josh Tyler taking second place in 1:40:28, and third place Robert Henderson finishing up 1:40:38.

The Beginner Vet 1 race was won by Andy Anderson - Jersey Action Riders in 1:35:17. Andy was the fastest OVERALL Beginner and ran an excellent race. Second place at 1:38:25 was Chris Chapman and third place Jim Ireland finished up with a time of 1:44:19. The Beg Vet 2 race was a slam dunk for 1st place Tim Schultz - Action Wheels who ended up 3rd Place in Series points. He ran a smooth race which he finished in 1:41:20. 2nd place James Gullivan came in at 1:43:12 and 1st Place Series Champion Fred Hofstetter - Bike Line Corporate finished 3rd with a time of 1:44:45.

Series Champion and 1st Place Beg Master 1 Bill Ringler - Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers remains undefeated for all of the Classic Series presented by Trek races. Even after being off the bike due to a vacation in Florida, he was able to maintain his undefeated status. This was no easy game as second place Randy Huber turned up the heat just 35 yards back towards the end of the race, Bill with both legs cramping was able to just hold him off by 14 seconds! Bill finished with a time of 1:55:09 and Randy came in 2nd at 1:55:23. Third place was won by Cullen Wambaugh - Cycle Works with a time of 1:58:17. The Beg Master 2 race was won by Series Champion John Hendrickson - FSVS who had the largest gap of the day with a three seconds away from a 16 minute lead. He finished up in 1:42:00. 2nd place was won by Bob Fifield at 1:57:57 and 3rd place by Michael Jacobs - Bike Line Corporate clocking in at 2:05:57.
