The Beginner Junior Men's race was incredibly close again, except for Jeff Meyer - First State Velo taking first place by more than six minutes! At the D&Q Summer Sizzler Jeff won by only a little over three seconds, however things were quite different at Iron Hill as this time he had time to spare. The 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place finishers however were all within 30 seconds of each other. 2nd Place Sport Robby McElfresh - Yellow Breeches Racing 1:01:19, 3rd Place Chase Klozlowski - In Gear 1:01:21, and 4th Place NUDY Dominic Nudy 1:01:49.

Bikeline Sport RiderEric Mushrush and Seth Witman - Cycle Works continued their battle for series championship with the tables turned after this race. Seth beat Eric at the Summer Sizzler by just 26 seconds and came into this race only 16 points behind the current series leader. Eric turned it on at this race with a winning margin of a little under two minutes solidifying his lead for the series championship. Anything could happen at Fair Hill so....... keep your eyes on these two. 3rd Place Vincent Lattanzi - Y's Guys who's team was in the Sport's section of the News Journal (main local newspaper for Wilmington, DE) recently had a phenomenal finish just 12 seconds behind Seth Witman.

There were three 1st Places for the home team of First State Velo Sport thanks to Justin Tillinghast - First State Velo Sport who wrapped up the Beginner Senior 2 race with a time of 55:50. A little over a minute behind him was Neil Christie - Y's Guys (the Y actually stands for YMCA) however this team is running with gangster strength. 3rd Place Gene Kim finished at 59:29 joining the "less than one hour" club.

The Beginner Vet 1 race was won by Dale Sandt. He was the 1st Place Overall Beginner racer of the day with a time of 53:54. Robert Sawickey - Action Wheels who previously had been undefeated in the Classic Series presented by Trek took second at 55:31. Barry Jones - No Cents Racing placed a respectable 3rd at 57:15. 1st Place Beginner Vet 2 was Tim Schultz - Actions Wheels coming in at 55:18 putting an end to the winning streak for the last two races of Brad Bugher - Y's Guys who was second at 57:20. 3rd Place Fred Hofstetter - Bike Line Corporate racked up more points for his team with a time of 59:34.
