The 1st Place Beginner Men Vet1 race was won by Robert Sawickey. Brian Sheriff took second and Dale Shomper third. Joel Moats - MBM DNFed last year at this race due to anemia and other problems associated with his then undiscovered case of Crohn's Disease. This year he has made an impressive comeback taking 1st Place Beginner Men Vet2 after flatting three quarters of the way through the race. Brad Bugher placed second and Kevin Mantz third.

Jonathan Keiper won the Beginner Junior Men race with Jay Price - Yellow Breeches Racing second and Mathew Keiper third. Bill Ringler - Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers has been running on a treadmill of late. Seems to have paid off since he was able to win the Beginner Men Master1 race well ahead of most of his competitors. Bill accidentally locked out his rear suspension which made it tough going over the rocks however he persevered and brought home a first place trophy. Cullen Wambaugh placed second and Scott Brockett came in third. Mike Marchiori won the Beginner Men Master2 race with Dave Fitzsimmons second and Jerry Bonfiglio third.

Expert Monsters are a very special breed. They traverse the very toughest that Michaux has to offer including the infamous Three Mile Trail and do more climbing and longer distances than anyone. The course is a grueling 40 miles. Rob Lichtenwalner - Valley Mtn Bikes took top honors in this race. Rob won the Hibernia Sport Men Senior 1 last year and seems to have continued his winning ways on a course far more challenging. Mark Elsasser fiinished second and Matthew Lee third. The Expert Monster women's race was won by Shannon Orr. Our respect goes out to these dedicated atheletes.

Taking the number one spot for the Cyldesdales (over 200lbs) was Brad Jones. 2nd Place is the constantly improving Mark Fitzwater - Wooden Wheels with John Kula third.
