How was your fitness level going into this race?

My fitness level could have been a little better, I didn't get much riding time in the week before as I was too busy recovering from Michaux.

Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

I was about 6th going into the singletrack but that changed once we hit some of the more technical parts of the course.

Were you strong from start to finish?: I felt real good the whole race.

When did you put the hammer down?

I put the hammer down on my first lap on the first two climbs.

Did you have any unusual problems?

No

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Everything went as smooth as could be expected for the last race of the year. Don had a lot of final work to do for final awards and was a busy man, but handled everything well.

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

Since this race was close to home, I had some friends and family show up to cheer me on. It was nice to have my family and friends there.

Anything you would like to add?

I would like to thank Shirk's for giving me the opportunity to race for them and be part of the team this year. We had a great season and had a really nice day On Sunday with lots of good food and good friends to share it with. I am looking forward to racing Sport next year and wish the new series started next week.
