Did you do anything special to prepare for this race?

No, just tried to eat well before the race and got some rest.

In the last two months how many hours a week have you trained?

6 - 10 hours.

Were you strong from start to finish?

No.

When did you put the hammer down?

In the last two miles.

Did you have any unusual problems with the race?

Just cramping because of the length of the race.

How do you rate the course?

The hardest course I have ever done in my life.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yes. I was happy with the way the race was run.

If you could do the race again, would you do anything differently?

No, just try to train for LONG races. That 27 miles took a lot out of me.

Is there anything you would like to add?

Thank God for good weather. I am quite surprised at the finishing time that I had. It was a fun race.
