Did you do anything special to prepare for this race?

Exercising at a gym and spin classes and just pretty much trying to keep in shape.

In the last 2 months how many hours per week have you trained on average?

About 5 hours per week.

Were you strong from start to finish?

Yes, I fell strong at the end.

When did you put the hammer down?

At the end of the race I really pressed hard. I went into the big ring.

Was there anything unusual that happened?

I crashed into a mud puddle.

How would you rate the course?

I liked the course a lot. It was a fast course even though it was hot - thank God it was fast.... it kept you fairly cool but the sun was really beating down on you.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yes I was, it was very well organized.

If you could do the race again, would you do anything differently?

Nothing. I'd like to win first place, but second was not bad.

Is there anything you'd like to add?

No, just thank you for the interview.
