How was your fitness level going into this race?
Good considering I have been nursing a minor knee strain.
Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?
Yes, I was third pretty much the whole time after the first climb.
Were you strong from start to finish?
I felt like I was getting stronger with each lap, would like for it to
have been 1 more lap.The course was top notch in my opinion.
When did you put the hammer down?
I started opening a bigger gap on the third lap so I guess you could say
then.
Did you have any unusual problems?
None, Except for getting up at 4am to drive 6hrs to make the race, I actually
felt pretty good and felt it was well worth the drive.
Were you happy with the way the race was run?
Yes, fast results, great competiton and awesome race course.
Anything you would like to add?
I would like to thank Jonathan Posner TREK team manager and Steve Borkoski
for their help this year. Also, TREK/VW/TRAFFIC PRO/JBL, Fox, PowerBar, Nike
