How was your fitness level going into this race?
I felt I was alright though not world cup like.
Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?
According to my laid back strategy yes. I tend to kamikaze the start so
I was holding back.
Were you strong from start to finish?
I think I was fairly strong.
When did you put the hammer down?
The middle and last 2 miles.
Did you have any unusual problems?
I wound a big stick into my drivetrain halfway during an attack, but it
crunched out.
Were you happy with the way the race was run?
I think so.
Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges
with competitors/spectators)?
There was a older guy on the trail that was calling the final downhill, he
gave me the nerve to fly the last part.
Anything you would like to add?
This was a fun race and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
