How was your fitness level going into this race?
Pretty good, I have just been trying to stay focused on my goals for this
year and not get side- tracked too much.
Were you happy with your position
going into the singletrack?
Yeah, i wasn't too worried about that because the race was so muddy and
wet, it could have been anyone's race.
Were you strong from start
to finish?
I felt pretty strong, some of those hills towards the end got hard but
I had a lot of fun overall.
When did you put the hammer down?
I tried to stay strong throughout, just keep my pace steady until the finish.
Did
you have any unusual problems?
My tire stopped a few times from all the mud blocking it up, but other
than that nothing really happened.
Were you happy with the way the
race was run?
Yes and no, the mud wasn't getting any clearer so they really shouldn't
have delayed the start so late for us, but it worked out so everything
was cool.
Did you have any interesting experiences during your race
(exchanges with competitors/spectators)?
No
Anything you would like to add?
I love this course and hopefully next year it WON'T rain so we can ride
the MEGA DIP! Good job to everyone involved with running the race!
