How was your fitness level going into this race?

Good. I think it's getting better now that the series is almost over :o)

Were you happy with your position going into the singletrack?

Well, I was the last one into the singletrack, but since there were only 5 of us it didn't really matter all that much.

Were you strong from start to finish?

Yes, I felt great the entire race!

When did you put the hammer down?

I think probably in the second lap after that 'fun' climb. I was just waiting for Nicole or Gwen to sneak up on me like they always do!!

Did you have any unusual problems?

I crashed 3 times. The last crash was a pretty good one. I still don't know what I did, but I hit pretty hard. I heard I had tire prints on my back?? Think I was trying to pick up my speed and got sloppy.

Were you happy with the way the race was run?

Yes! The trails were sweet and marked very well! Thanks Guys!

Did you have any interesting experiences during your race (exchanges with competitors/spectators)?

No. Normally Nicole and I go back and forth passing each other, but she flatted in the first lap and we didn't get to do that this time. However, it was nice to see that she passed "someone else" right at the finish line (instead of me) and ended up third. Good job Nicole!

Just want to thank my teammates again for all the cheering and support. We have way too much fun ~ Thanks Don Morrison and Dot.com Man ~ You've done a great thing for the mountain biking community!!
